Position Summary

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for prospective and current residents while supporting the leasing office in achieving occupancy goals. This role includes conducting tours, processing applications, assisting with renewals, and delivering outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, sales-minded, and committed to providing an excellent resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and conduct engaging apartment and community tours.
• Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Process rental applications and lease agreements accurately.
• Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of availability, pricing, and community features.
• Build strong relationships with residents and prospective residents.
• Support resident events and community engagement initiatives.
• Maintain organized leasing files and accurate records.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed in the leasing office.

Qualifications

Required

• Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, customer service, or property management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and sales abilities.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management software.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Preferred

• Previous multifamily leasing experience.
• Experience with Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, RealPage, or similar property management software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment

• Professional multifamily apartment community.
• Office-based role with frequent walking of the property.
• Interaction with residents, prospects, vendors, and onsite staff.
• Some weekend availability may be required.
