Leasing Consultant – Heritage Villas
Heritage Villas is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about multi-family housing, enjoys working in a sales-driven environment, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. The Leasing Consultant plays a vital role in the day-to-day success of the community by supporting leasing, resident relations, and overall property management operations.
In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, providing a welcoming and professional experience at every interaction. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering and managing incoming calls, and effectively presenting apartment homes, community features, and amenities. The Leasing Consultant will actively engage in leasing and sales activities by identifying prospect needs, offering appropriate housing solutions, and guiding applicants through the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease execution.
Maintaining the overall appearance and readiness of the community is an important part of this role. This includes ensuring the leasing office, model apartments, and amenity areas are clean, organized, and show-ready at all times. Light lifting and pulling may be necessary while performing routine housekeeping duties within the office, show units, and shared community spaces.
Administrative responsibilities include accurately completing leasing documentation, entering prospect traffic and daily activity into property management systems, and maintaining organized and detailed records. The Leasing Consultant will also support ongoing resident relations by assisting with communication, coordinating service requests, and contributing to a positive community atmosphere.
Success in this role requires strong sales and follow-up skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine interest in helping others find a place to call home. Prior experience in apartment leasing, sales, or property management within the multi-family housing industry is preferred.
The position operates within a professional office environment and residential community setting, requiring regular movement, communication, and interaction throughout the day. Light lifting and pulling may be necessary while performing routine housekeeping duties within the office, show units, and shared community spaces.
Candidates must be available to work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule as part of the regular workweek.
