Position Summary

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional experience for prospective and current residents. This role includes leasing apartment homes, conducting community tours, assisting with resident relations, processing applications, and supporting the daily operations of the leasing office.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, sales-minded, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents and conduct engaging property tours.
• Respond to phone, email, and online leasing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Process rental applications, lease agreements, and renewals accurately.
• Maintain current knowledge of apartment availability, pricing, and community amenities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and prospects.
• Assist with resident retention programs and community events.
• Maintain organized leasing files and accurate resident records.
• Support the property management team with administrative and operational tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

Required

• Previous leasing, customer service, sales, hospitality, or property management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and sales abilities.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn property management software.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Preferred

• Previous multifamily leasing experience.
• Experience using Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, RealPage, or similar property management software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Professional multifamily apartment community.
• Office environment with frequent walking throughout the property.
• Daily interaction with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and team members.
• Some weekend availability may be required.
