Employment Type: Full-Time Office Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Thurs, 8:00am-2:30pm Fridays 

 

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Leasing Agent Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for a leasing professional who excels at customer service, sales, and team leadership. The Leasing Agent Lead will oversee leasing activities, support and mentor leasing staff, and help drive occupancy goals while providing exceptional service to current and prospective residents.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily leasing operations and support leasing staff performance.

  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and property tours.

  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.

  • Process rental applications and screen potential tenants by conducting background checks, verifying employment and income, and checking rental references to ensure they meet leasing criteria in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate leasing records and resident files.

  • Follow up with prospects to maximize occupancy and conversion rates.

  • Provides feedback and reports to the property manager on traffic and prospects.

  • Supports the property management team in daily operations by handling inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner by phone, email, and online chat.

  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.

  • Support marketing and outreach initiatives to attract qualified prospects.

  • Serve as a resource and mentor for leasing team members.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years residential leasing or sales experience required.

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Valid Driver's license and automobile insurance. 

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional customer service.

  • Proficiency with property management and leasing software required.

  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and leasing best practices.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

Schedule & Availability:

  • Full-time position; Office Hours 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Thurs, 8:00am-2:30pm Friday, Closed Weekends

  • Must be flexible and available to work evenings, later hours, and weekends if business needs require.

  • Ability to adjust schedule to support leasing traffic, resident events, and staffing needs.
