For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States. NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, technical, and other professional skills that support the Bureau of Land Management through the Experienced Services Program (ESP). This position supports the Bureau of Land Management Wyoming State Office. This is a remote position. Positions listed here do not guarantee employment for any definite period. Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. This position is currently funded for an estimate of 520 hours. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee. PLEASE NOTE: An ?Enrollee? is not a federal employee, nor an employee of NEW Solutions. An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions. Qualifications: Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience in Oil and gas leasing/adjudication OR HS/GED Degree with minimum additional experience of 10 year(s) in Oil and gas leasing/adjudication
Duties: The Lease Sales Assistant reviews and processes a full range of the most difficult and complex mineral leasing cases. Adjudicates applications for technical accuracy and legal adequacy in areas such as oil and gas and geothermal resources leasing. Processes Expressions of Interest, lease sale notices, lease documents for final approval ensuring accuracy and completeness by established deadlines. Provides training and reviews the work performed by novice adjudicators. Reviews and reports on workflow process and assists with implementation of changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Reviews cases and databases for completeness, identifies required updates and errors in support the adjudication/leasing team.
