Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lease Administrator to manage all aspects of lease administration, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both internal and external stakeholders. This role will oversee lease data, invoicing, and compliance while delivering exceptional service to landlords, tenants, and partners. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of commercial/retail property management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Lease Administrator, you will review, abstract, and manage commercial real estate legal documents, ensuring all data is accurately maintained in the lease administration database. You will process invoices for rent, operating expenses, and reconciliations, conduct desktop audits for CAM, taxes, and insurance, and manage third-party leased or subleased properties. This includes invoicing tenants, reconciling accounts, issuing delinquent rent notices, and preparing CAM reconciliations. You will also support payment processes, cure monetary and non-monetary defaults, and deliver a high volume of transactional work with accuracy and timeliness. Additionally, you’ll investigate and resolve issues related to invoices and payments while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

  • 1–3 years of experience in commercial/retail real estate preferred.
  • Property management experience is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel; comfortable with MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and positive attitude with the ability to multitask and learn quickly with minimal supervision.
  • Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-up on pending issues.
  • Experience with reconciliations, accounting basics, and financial calculations preferred.
