Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant.
The Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) serves as a member of the Child Study Team as well as a support to general and special education teachers and students. The LDTC reports to the Executive Director and Principal.
Job Requirements
Valid New Jersey educational services certification with Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant Endorsement
Successful completion of a master's program preferred
3 years of teaching experience
Knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, learning assessment and diagnosis, the needs and demands of the classroom professional, and research related to learning, instructional strategies, and classroom management
Understanding of current rules and regulations regarding Child Study Teams and special education assessment and program requirements.
