Covia is looking for a dynamic Learning & Development Coordinator. Based at Covia's Independence, Ohio, corporate headquarters, reporting to the Manager, Talent Development, this role closely partners with the Covia Human Resources team, organizational subject matter experts (SMEs), and external partners to support the organization's talent development and learning objectives. The key responsibilities of this individual contributor are to partner with the business to identify, develop, and deploy engaging learning solutions; provide support for Covia's learning management system (LMS); and evaluate and utilize technology and AI-enabled tools.
The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:
Partner with the business to identify, develop, and deploy engaging learning solutions
Utilizing adult learning principles and instructional design best practices, coordinate the full lifecycle of content creation and instructional design including needs analysis, content curation, asset development, deployment, communication, reporting, and evaluation
Collaborate with SMEs across the organization to build new training, transform existing content, and curate third-party solutions with a focus on learner experience and engagement
Develop materials across a variety of formats including interactive e-learning modules, how-to guides, microlearning assets, facilitator slide decks, participant guides, videos, etc. to support a diverse range of delivery methods and initiatives
Routinely evaluate and improve learning solutions based on data, feedback, and evolving business needs
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and high-quality standards
Provide support for Covia's learning management system (LMS)
Serve as an administrator for Covia's LMS (UKG Pro Learning, "Polaris") with a commitment to responsive, high-quality customer service for all users
Support all system functions including asset cataloging, management, reporting, metrics, training, notifications, etc.
Evaluate and utilize technology and AI-enabled tools
Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities to leverage technology, with a focus on AI-enabled tools, to enhance the quality and efficiency of how we develop and deploy learning and other Talent Development initiatives
