Job Summary:
Location: Methodist College
Address: 720 N. 87th St. - Omaha, NE
Work Schedule: Weekday shifts, generally 7:00am to 4:00pm, on a casual, as needed basis.
Assess the baseline competency (e.g., critical thinking, clinical skills, etc.) of the newly hired clinical staff based on current evidence based research and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Assessments are sent to departmental contacts to develop individualized department orientation.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Use adult learning principles to validate clinical skills of patient delivery staff to ensure competent and safe care.
Initiate individualized educational plan using role specific education topics in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Design ongoing learning methods to enhance clinical employee education.
Establish and maintain relationships with Methodist Health System staff with the goal of enhancing employee growth and development
Collaborate with Methodist College to leverage available resources in learning and development.
Maintain skills lab equipment and supplies to meet the needs of the Health System.
