Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Norton Shores that are seeking Lean Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify waste and bottlenecks.
• Design and implement visual management systems and 5S programs.
• Develop and optimize production layouts and material flow.
• Conduct time studies and value stream mapping to identify improvement opportunities.
• Train and mentor production teams on Lean principles and tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience implementing Lean methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement events (Kaizen, VSM, 5S).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Black Belt or Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train others in Lean principles
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, robotics)
