Our team works in a friendly, flexible, positive, collaborative environment.Your ImpactProvide engineering services in support of planning, studies, analysis, and design of water treatment and distribution systems, as well as wastewater collection and treatment systems, which may include pump/lift stations, wells, chemical feed systems, and storage reservoirsPrimary focus for project work will be the development of engineering studies, design reports, construction documents, and construction oversight/administration related to water/wastewater infrastructure in the municipal and industrial markets.Develop scope, costs, budgets and schedules for studies, design and construction services related to water & wastewater projects, including pipelines, pump stations & treatment plant worksCreate detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment, water conveyance systems and wastewater collection systemsSetup and perform hydraulic modeling for water and sewer systemsWork with CAD designers to prepare plans/drawings for water and wastewater infrastructure systems using industry-standard design platforms, such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, etc. Ability to use CAD software is considered a plusCheck design computations and quantity estimatesAssist in client contact and communications pertaining to specific projectsOccasional field work and travel to project sites may be required. Approximately 5% overnight travelWill work with and mentor junior staffWho You AreRequired QualificationsBS degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree. MS is a plusPE required; AZ PE preferred10 years + of relevant experienceDemonstrated engineering experience in small or large sized, multi-disciplined water/wastewater projects, including responsibility for client interactionsProficiency in detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment, water conveyance systems and wastewater collection systemsSuccessful engineering project delivery with respect to scope, schedule, quality, and budgetSenior Engineer positioned to add project management to their responsibilities. Project management experience is a plus.Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneouslyExcellent, clear and concise, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to coordinate meetings, conduct effective client presentations & prepare written reportsSelf-motivated, team-oriented, hardworking, and intent on doing great workAbility and willingness to travel for client meetings, or project field sites.
