Lead Water Treatment Process Engineer

Team Lead & Senior Process Engineer opening with a well-established and respected engineering firm in Greenville, SC. In this on-site role, you will support the design and delivery of drinking water treatment facilities for public utilities and local governments. The focus is on technical leadership and process engineering across complex treatment plant projects.

Join a rapidly growing national company in their new Water Design Center. This firm is building a hub of specialized engineers focused on the expanding need for drinking water treatment projects across the Southeast.
 
Responsibilities include leading treatment process design from early planning through final construction documents, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver large-scale water infrastructure projects. This position plays a key role in evaluating treatment technologies, developing process designs, coordinating equipment selection, and supporting the successful delivery of complex drinking water treatment facilities.

Requirements

• Ability to lead projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Masters or PHD highly preferred in a related engineering discipline
• 10+ years of experience designing municipal drinking water treatment plants with an excellent depth of knowledge about best practices
• Experience with ownership of entire projects from inception to delivery
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, ability to obtain PE in SC
• Experience with treatment processes such as coagulation, filtration, membranes, or disinfection
• Experience supporting design development through construction-ready documentation
