Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Lead Water Mitigation Technician for a Direct Hire position with a restoration company located in Tigard, OR. The person in this role will lead crews, perform documentation, and will complete hands-on work in the Portland and Vancouver area.
Lead Water Mitigation Technician Responsibilities:
- Lead mitigation crew; first point of contact for questions and process instructions for the team
- Follow up and final inspections at other technician jobs
- Confirm signed work authorization for all jobs
- Ensure daily DASH/MICA updates on all ongoing mitigation projects
- Inspect, evaluate, and document damaged properties
- Ensure time and materials are coded to the correct projects
- Required 24/7 on call for one week every five weeks
- Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
- Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them properly clean
- Select, schedule and coordinate emergency services subcontractors
Lead Water Mitigation Technician Qualifications:
- Prior experience in water restoration, mold remediation, and/or fire damage restoration is required
- Current WRT certification preferred
- Strong mitigation/demo skills with an emphasis on quality and clean up
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Insurable and valid driver license to operate a company vehicle.
- Drywall installation, paint and finish carpentry skills are a plus
- Computer savvy
- Completion of technical or trade school courses in construction, water or fire mitigation, or related field a plus
