As the Warehouse Lead, you will be a key contributor to our distribution center’s success. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll create and maintain a safety-first culture while ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations. You’ll oversee a team of associates, driving productivity, accuracy, and compliance with all safety protocols.

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll be onsite and actively involved in day-to-day operations.

 

Key Responsibilities May Include

  • Foster a safety-first culture among all warehouse associates and truck drivers, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and cost-effective distribution environment.
  • Oversee warehouse organization, including bin location management and ERP transfers for operational efficiency.
  • Assign tasks to operators based on schedules and targets agreed with the Supervisor.
  • Communicate progress and challenges to operators, supervisors, and business leaders through meetings and reports.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through audits and cycle counts and track all inbound/outbound shipments with proper documentation.
  • Fill in for Supervisor when required and perform other duties as assigned by Site Management.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years in a warehouse environment with knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse technology (RF scanners, printers, computers).
  • Strong communication skills for team coordination and reporting.
  • Ability to lift 40–60 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs occasionally; stand for extended periods; bend, stack pallets, and operate equipment.
  • Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
