AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to immediately fill the role of Lead Warehouse Associate. This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
- Support the Warehouse Manager in running the warehouse
- Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
- Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
- Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
- Assist with inventory counts
- Order warehouse supplies when needed
- Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
