Location: The Learning Experience – Upper West Side, New York, NY Pay: $20–$23 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Lead Toddler Teacher
The Learning Experience – Upper West Side is seeking an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of language development, independence, and social-emotional growth.
This role focuses on creating engaging classroom experiences through structured routines, hands-on activities, and positive teacher-child relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead classroom routines for toddler-aged children
Support language development and early social interaction
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
Guide assistant teachers and support classroom consistency
Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and milestones
Follow New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications
BA or AA in Early Childhood Education preferred, CDA accepted
Prior toddler classroom experience preferred
Strong classroom management and teamwork skills
Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
