Job Summary :
The work schedule is two (2) 12-hr shifts 7:30am-8pm, 48 hours biweekly as well as any
meetings or trainings that are required by the department. Eligible for full-time benefits.
Call shifts required. Previous Coordinator or Leadership experience desired.
This position coordinates daily operations during the shift and is designated by the
Director/Manager or designee to promote consistency of the department. The Lead
Technologist possesses strong clinical skills and leadership abilities, uses clear and
effective communication, exhibits interdepartmental collaboration and teamwork, can
multi-task, delegate, prioritize, and utilize critical thinking to meet departmental needs.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
A. Receive a general report on the department from Radiology Manager(s).
B. Assign meal/break times.
C. Operate PACS, Powerscribe and other systems, as needed
D. Assist Radiologists with staffing, system and equipment issues.
E. Oversee disaster events and run department operations until relieved by Director or
Clinical Manager.
G. This is a working tech position. This person will do X-Ray, IR and MRI exams during
their shift.
H. While on shift, accomplish activities or may delegate (these common duties may not
be all inclusive for each department).

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor of Science preferred.
Mandatory Licensure/Certifications:
Current licensure by the Indiana State
ARRT Certification
CPR Certification
