Lead Teacher – Infant, Toddler, or Preschool Classrooms
Location: The Learning Experience – Milford, MA
350 E Main St, Milford, MA 01757
Pay: Starting at $20 per hour (based on certification and experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
The Learning Experience – Milford is seeking experienced Lead Teachers to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role focuses on creating structured, engaging learning environments where children build confidence, independence, and early academic foundations.
This position is ideal for educators who enjoy leading a classroom team while supporting children during important stages of early development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom routines using developmentally appropriate teaching practices
- Implement engaging learning activities that support social, language, and cognitive growth
- Create a safe, organized classroom environment that promotes participation and independence
- Guide assistant teachers and maintain consistent classroom structure
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom experiences and developmental progress
- Support transitions throughout the day including meals, rest time, and learning centers
- Maintain compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification required (Infant/Toddler or Preschool)
- Prior classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
- Reliable, collaborative, and team-oriented approach
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available)
