Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of The Learning Connection, create, organize, and lead a child care/youth program and environment favorable to learning and personal growth; perform related work as required. Plans, initiates, organizes programs, activities and services; schedules and assists in supervising staff, maintains, records and prepares written monthly reports; prepares monthly calendars and fliers; meets with parents; assists in selecting and evaluating part-time staff; supervises recreation activities. Experience or coursework related to childhood development; minimum of 12 units of Early Childhood Education or Child Development or Children's Center permit; AA or higher degree preferred.
