Schedule
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • Optional Additional Hours: Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in our ABA Center.
About Rogue Academy
Rogue Academy is a small, ABA-based private school serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our classrooms combine evidence-based educational practices with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to create individualized learning experiences. Every student receives one-on-one support from a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), allowing teachers to focus on delivering engaging instruction while collaborating with a highly supportive team.

Position Summary
The Lead Teacher is responsible for implementing educational activities for students in Preschool through 8th grade while working under the supervision of a licensed teacher. This position offers the opportunity to lead a classroom in a collaborative, supportive environment with significant flexibility to plan engaging lessons and activities that meet the individual needs of students with autism.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Implement educational lessons and activities under the direction of a licensed teacher.
  • Teach students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Preschool through 8th grade.
  • Collaborate with RBTs to provide individualized instruction and behavioral support.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet varying academic and developmental needs.
  • Create engaging, hands-on, and meaningful learning experiences.
  • Foster communication, social skills, independence, and academic growth.
  • Assist with classroom organization and preparation of instructional materials.
  • Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members.
  • Participate in staff meetings and required trainings.
Qualifications

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively with children.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Willingness to complete the required 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training.
Preferred
  • Experience working with students with disabilities.
  • Experience in special education, ABA, childcare, or education.
  • Experience managing or leading classroom activities.
