We hire the best and the brightest from across the country – constructing a team of experts in architecture, design, engineering, project management, and business services.A DAY IN THE LIFEManage projects and communicate with clients, technical drafting staff, and others outside the project teamPrepare preliminary designs for clientsReview building codes to assure proper implementation in designAttend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, architect, civil, and mechanical engineersProduce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during preparation of construction documents as well as constructionProduce construction‑ready design drawings coordinated with all disciplines to assure completeness and accuracyManage construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, and coordination with the construction teamsNecessary QualificationsBS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering5+ years of structural engineering building design experience, ideally with some experience in large‑scale commercial and/or data center projectsAbility to prepare structural designs for steel, concrete, masonry, light gauge steel, and understanding of foundation designProficiency using Revit independently to create construction level structural drawings is requiredKnowledge of analysis and design programs such as RAM Structural System, SAP2000, RISA, or another recognized 3D design packages preferredProficiency using Microsoft Office SuiteProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure, or ability to obtain within 6 monthsLegal DisclaimerEOE, including disability/vets#J-18808-Ljbffr
