IDR is seeking a Lead/Senior Workday Financials Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Florida.
This role involves serving as a hands-on Workday Financials subject-matter expert, focusing on design, configuration, and ongoing support within a rapidly evolving healthcare-focused environment. The position emphasizes leveraging technical expertise to optimize financial systems and collaborate closely with finance and IT stakeholders.
Position Overview for the Lead/Senior Workday Financials Analyst:
- Serve as a hands-on Workday Financials SME responsible for design, configuration, and support of the financial environment.
- Partner with finance and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions, overseeing requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
- Lead enhancements and optimize financial workflows, including procure-to-pay, month-end close, and reporting processes.
- Strengthen governance, controls, and platform scalability to ensure compliance and efficiency across a national footprint.
- Grow into a team leadership role as the financials function matures within the organization.
Requirements for the Lead/Senior Workday Financials Analyst:
- 7–10 years of Workday experience overall.
- 3–5+ years supporting Workday Financials in a post-implementation environment.
- Proven, hands-on configuration ownership with experience in optimization projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of translating requirements into solutions.
- Experience in gathering business requirements and supporting the entire configuration lifecycle.
