Job Description: Lead SAP EPPM Functional Consultant (Automotive R D)
Lead SAP Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) Functional Consultant
to spearhead the design and implementation of R D solutions within the
S/4HANA
environment. This role is specifically focused on optimizing
New Product Development (NPD)
processes for a leading Automotive OEM.
As a lead, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering requirements and SAP best practices, ensuring a seamless flow from initial product concept to mass production.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Leadership:
Lead the end-to-end implementation (Design, Build, Test, and Deploy) of SAP EPPM modules, specifically focused on
Project System (PS)
and
Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) .
Business Process Engineering:
Conduct workshops with automotive engineering and R D stakeholders to translate "New Product Development" requirements into scalable S/4HANA solutions.
System Integration:
Design integrated workflows between EPPM and other modules such as
PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) ,
MM ,
FI/CO , and
PP
to track R D costs and milestones.
Lead through the Lifecycle:
Manage at least 2–3 full lifecycle implementations, overseeing system configuration, functional specifications for RICEFW objects, and data migration strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), oversee cutover activities, and provide hyper-care support following go-live.
Experience
8+ years in SAP Functional consulting with at least
2-3 full lifecycle implementations .
Core Modules
Deep expertise in
S/4HANA EPPM (PPM
PS) .
Industry Focus
Proven experience in the
Automotive OEM
sector or high-tech manufacturing.
NPD Knowledge
Understanding of Stage-Gate processes, R D financial tracking, and resource management.
Integration
Proficiency in integrating EPPM with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Logistics.
Communication
Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to present to executive leadership.
