    Job Title: Lead Regulatory Engineer - Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

    Location: Wyoming, Minnesota (Onsite)

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a Lead Regulatory Engineer (EPR) to drive compliance initiatives related to extended producer responsibility (EPR) and global packaging regulations. This role will lead cross-functional efforts to ensure compliance with evolving environmental laws while supporting sustainability and circular economy goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and interpret global EPR and packaging waste regulations
    • Lead and manage EPR compliance programs across multiple regions
    • Develop systems for data collection, tracking, and regulatory reporting
    • Ensure accurate calculation of material volumes, recyclability, and compliance fees
    • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, PROs, and external partners
    • Drive packaging sustainability initiatives and waste reduction strategies
    • Develop and deliver training programs on EPR compliance
    • Define KPIs and track compliance performance metrics
    • Collaborate with engineering, packaging, and sustainability teams

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Packaging, Engineering, or related field
    • 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, EPR, or sustainability
    • Strong understanding of EPR frameworks and waste regulations
    • Experience managing large datasets and compliance reporting (Excel or similar tools)
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with packaging compliance or recycling regulations
    • Familiarity with EPR reporting tools or sustainability software
    • Knowledge of circular economy principles
    • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and implement business strategies
