Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Job Description
Lead Radiology Technologist at our Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Full-Time/Day Shift - Monday - Friday from 6:30am-3pm

$6,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by the hospital that begin on your first day of employment.

The Lead Radiology Technologist monitors and assists with direction of technical operation of a high volume and fast paced Radiology section of Diagnostic Imaging; assumes direct control of specific areas within Radiology as assigned; oversees workflow coordination and monitors daily radiology department schedule to assure proper tech and patient scheduling for smooth exam workflow. Schedules in-patient exams in a timely fashion to meet patient needs; assists with staff training, addressing equipment and safety concerns, coordinating and collaborating with multiple departments within the facility; performs radiographic procedures as needed to the high standards of the facility.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years Diagnostic Imaging experience.
