Lead Preschool Teacher
The Learning Experience – Brooklyn (Bed-Stuy / Bushwick) is seeking a qualified Lead Preschool Teacher to guide children ages 3–5 in a structured classroom focused on kindergarten readiness, independence, and early academic development.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily instruction for preschool-aged children
- Support early literacy, math readiness, and social-emotional growth
- Maintain structured classroom routines and learning centers
- Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency
- Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and classroom updates
- Ensure compliance with New York State and NYC licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
- Prior preschool classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice
- Must meet NYC childcare licensing requirements
