Akkodis is seeking a Lead Performance Engineer/Architect for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing enterprise‑scale performance testing strategies to ensure application scalability, reliability, and stability.
Rate Range: $56/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Lead Performance Engineer/Architect Job Responsibilities include:
Design and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies for web, API, and cloud-based applications.
Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, or Gatling.
Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing to identify system bottlenecks and risks.
Analyze performance metrics using monitoring tools like Datadog and Dynatrace, providing actionable insights.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps and development teams.
Prepare detailed performance reports and guide stakeholders on optimization and scalability improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
12+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing roles.
Strong hands-on expertise with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, Gatling, and monitoring tools like Datadog and Dynatrace.
Proven experience designing performance test frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and analyzing performance bottlenecks across web, API, and cloud-based microservices architectures.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
