Lead Ophthalmology Technician - Full-Time | No Weekends - Denver, CO
A growing private ophthalmology practice in Denver, Colorado is looking to hire an experienced Lead Ophthalmology Technician!
We are seeking a motivated leader who has experience in a high-volume ophthalmology practice, takes initiative, sees the big picture, and enjoys mentoring others. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and ready to play a key leadership role both in clinic and in the operating room.
DETAILS
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00am-5:00pm
- Assist with cataract and LASIK surgeries
- Oversee technician scheduling and daily workflow
- Order and maintain clinical supplies and inventory
- Train and mentor new technicians
- Occasional travel 1-2 days per month to a nearby office
COMPENSATION + BENEFITS
- $31-$32 per hour, based on experience
- Health and Dental insurance available after 2 months
- 401(k)
- Mileage reimbursement for travel
REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
- Minimum of 5 years of ophthalmology experience required
- 2-3 years of Lead Technician experience required
- Strong refraction skills required
- Experience working in a large, fast-paced ophthalmology practice strongly preferred
- Self-starter who takes ownership, anticipates practice needs, and helps keep the clinic running efficiently
- COA/COT certification is helpful but not required
