The Lead Maintenance Mechanic will provide advanced technical support for manufacturing and facility systems in a cGMP environment. They will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment such as bioreactors, autoclaves, and robotic filling lines, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
They will oversee maintenance of utilities, buildings, HVAC, water systems, and safety systems, while documenting work in CMMS. The role involves mentoring technicians, coordinating with vendors, and participating in emergency on-call rotations.
Requirements include 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of cGMP/ISO standards, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently. Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s degree and pharmaceutical industry experience. The role is on-site in Durham, NC, with on-call responsibilities.
