About Us: We pride ourselves on delivering a premier service experience to our guests, and that starts with having the best team in the shop. We operate a high-volume, state-of-the-art service department equipped with the latest Nissan diagnostic tools and technology. We are looking for a natural leader and diagnostic powerhouse to step into the role of Shop Foreman / Nissan Master Technician. If you are the person other techs turn to when a vehicle leaves them scratching their heads, and you're ready to guide a team toward peak efficiency, we want to talk to you.

The Role: What You'll Do As our Shop Foreman and Master Technician, you will split your time between tackling the most complex diagnostic/repair work and leading our shop floor. You will be the technical backbone of our service department and a mentor to our rising technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Mentor: Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to apprentice and line technicians to help them elevate their skills and efficiency.
  • Advanced Diagnostics: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and EV issues that require Master-level expertise.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control inspections and road tests on completed repairs to ensure fixed-right-first-time (FRFT) metrics are met.
  • Shop Workflow: Partner with the Service Manager and Advisors to manage shop workflow, dispatch jobs effectively, and ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA and dealership safety protocols.
  • Stay Current: Maintain your own Nissan certifications and ensure the shop is utilizing the latest technical service bulletins (TSBs) and campaign updates.

What We're Looking For You are a highly skilled communicator, a patient teacher, and a master of the Nissan platform.

Certifications: Current Nissan Master Technician certification is required. ASE Master Certification is highly preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of automotive repair experience in a dealership environment, with prior experience in a foreman, team lead, or senior mentor role preferred.

Skills: Exceptional diagnostic capabilities (including CONSULT-III Plus proficiency), strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and experience with Nissan EV platforms (LEAF/Ariya) is a major plus.

Tools: Must possess a comprehensive inventory of personal professional tools.

Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

What We Offer We believe in taking care of the people who take care of our business. Your expertise is valuable, and our compensation package reflects that. Top-Tier Pay: Highly competitive flat-rate structure with a guaranteed base or lucrative salary + bonus structure (commensurate with experience). Sign-On / Relocation Assistance: Available for the right Nissan-certified candidate. Benefits Package: Robust medical, dental, and vision insurance options. Retirement: 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Time Off: Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays. Continuous Growth: Ongoing, company-paid factory training and ASE reimbursement to keep your skills sharp. Work Environment: A clean, well-lit, climate-controlled facility with updated shop equipment.
