Description

As a Lead Manufacturing Technician at Honeywell, you will report directly to our Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager and work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an on‑site work schedule. In this role, you will conduct HSE audits across the site, investigate workplace injuries, and manage HSE related programs to ensure compliance with MNOSHA, MNPCA, and other federal, state, and local regulatory bodies as necessary.ResponsibilitiesLead and participate in process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.Provide technical expertise and guidance to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving employee health and safety issues promptly.Identify risks to employee health, implement cost‑effective solutions, and ensure that employees are protected from known hazards.QualificationsMUST HAVESBasic understanding of workplace safety regulatory requirements (MNOSHA, MPCA, MNDOT)Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.Proficiency in using software and tools for process optimization (Microsoft Office, database systems).WE VALUEBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.Strong leadership skills and ability to drive results.Passion for continuous improvement and employee safety.Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.BenefitsIn addition to a competitive salary, leading‑edge work, and developing solutions side‑by‑side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
