Our product line includes paint and powder coating booths, curing ovens, air make-up units, and complete industrial finishing systems.We are looking to add an on-site Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer to our team in Rockwall, Texas. This position owns production-facing engineering systems, standards, and data supporting RTT's custom metal manufacturing operations. The role converts approved designs into the manufacturing information needed to support production, including 3D models, routings, labor standards, and CNC programs within Epicor. The position ensures engineering data enables accurate costing, scheduling, and scalable production while partnering closely with operations and plant leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Engineering and ERP OwnershipOwn production engineering data within Epicor, including routings, bills of material, labor standards, and overhead drivers.Define weld assumptions, material utilization logic, and process constraints required for accurate costing and capacity planning.Establish engineering change control processes impacting production methods, cost, or throughput.Serve as the primary manufacturing engineering resource supporting Epicor implementation, stabilization, and ongoing process optimization.Coordinate with external engineering partners to ensure deliverables align with established design requirements, quality expectations, and manufacturing standards.Coordinate internal 3D drafting resources and external CAD partners to support engineering and production objectives.Develop and maintain 3D modeling standards that align with manufacturing processes, ERP requirements, and programming needs.Maintain synchronization and revision control between released 3D models, bills of materials (BOMs), and routings.Support and uphold SolidWorks and PDM/Vault standards, including system usage, access controls, and release procedures.Programming and Manufacturing MethodsCoordinate programming resources to support production priorities and manufacturing objectives.Partner with the Plant leadership to refine manufacturability, tooling assumptions, and process capability.Support continuous improvement initiatives tied to throughput, repeatability, and waste reduction.Qualifications5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferredProven ability to lead other engineers, drafters, or programmersStrong understanding of metal fabrication processes, including welding and formingERP experience required; Epicor experience strongly preferredExperience developing or maintaining manufacturing routings, bills of materials, labor standards, and engineering master dataSolidWorks proficiency and experience with PDM/Vault systemsStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skillsProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus is preferredWhat We OfferDirect exposure to company leadership and the opportunity to make a meaningful impactProfessional growth through hands‑on experience, mentorship, and continuous learning opportunitiesBroad exposure to all facets of the business, with the ability to expand your skills and influence across functionsA collaborative, family‑friendly culture where teamwork, innovation, and employee success are valuedCompetitive compensation aligned with experience and performanceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) retirement plan with matching; FSA; short- and long-term disability; life insurance; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); and more#J-18808-Ljbffr
