JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the leadership, coordination, reporting and other communications related to the day-to-day operations of the facility; including issues regarding safety, quality, waste, productivity, maintenance costs, housekeeping, repairs and testing. Lead Maintenance Technician assures the facility is being taken care of by maintaining equipment running efficiently and minimizing non-plan stops. This will ensure manufacturing equipment/systems will work within specified performance parameters. The Lead Maintenance Technician is knowledgeable in all facets of plant equipment and maintenance systems (grinding, material handling, utilities and overall grinding process) and can take over supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
