This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, century-old manufacturing leader built on a culture of safety and lifelong employee longevity. Operating a highly advanced production facility in the Fort Atkinson area, this company invests heavily in its people, ensuring you are thoroughly trained, set up for success, and working in a stable environment where team members treat each other like family.

This hands-on role is highly lucrative for a technical specialist who wants to maximize their earning potential while pairing their mechanical grit with a stable, supportive manufacturer. Rather than working in a chaotic, high-stress shop, you will join a structured team that respects your expertise and actively rewards dedication. It is the ideal setup for a reliable maintenance professional seeking long-term job security, premium overtime pay structures, and an excellent local reputation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Electro-Mechanical Maintenance: Executing complex mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and asset repairs across a highly automated production floor.
  • Preventative Maintenance (PMs): Rebuilding and performing scheduled PMs on automated fluid power systems, pneumatic valves, and heavy-duty hydraulic circuits.
  • Packaging Line Optimization: Diagnosing, leveling, and optimizing high-speed packaging lines, high-efficiency sorting systems, and specialized sanitary conveyors.
  • Structural Modification: Utilizing structural welding skills to modify equipment, reinforce frameworks, and support custom shop fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Emergency Breakdown Response: Responding promptly to emergency line breakdowns to minimize operational downtime and restore throughput during the 2nd shift window.
  • Asset Tracking Documentation: Documenting all repair actions, parts inventory adjustments, and equipment runtime cycles within the facility's asset management system.
  • Regulatory Compliance Support: Upholding strict FDA, GMP, and SQF regulatory compliance and cleanliness standards across all daily maintenance procedures.

What We Are Looking For

  • Regulated Industry Pedigree: A strong, verifiable background troubleshooting high-speed machinery in clean, sanitary production environments subject to federal oversight.
  • Diagnostic Intuition: Expert-level capability tracking down multi-variant automated system faults across mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical domains.
  • Reliable Shift Commitment: A dependable professional with full, unconditional availability and long-term commitment to working a dedicated 2nd shift schedule.
  • Employment Reliability: A rock-solid, stable work history demonstrating long-term career commitment and technical growth with previous employers; frequent job-hopping is a disqualifier.
