Pay Range*: $23.00/hr - $31.57/hr

Position Summary

According to established procedures, cleans and moves furniture equipment and supplies and performs a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain a neat, orderly and sanitary hospital environment. Completes employee assignment schedules and delegates work as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  1. Ability to safely and competently perform assigned duties

  2. Ability to follow through when given directions

  3. Ability to prioritize workload efficiently

  4. Ability to perform the basic cleaning functions within patient setting

  5. Ability to perform job function utilizing safe practices such as but not limited to:

  6. Proper use of wet floor sign

  7. Safe Bio Hazard waste handling

  8. Linen bags change out ½ full

  9. Ability to respond to emergency situations involving either patient safety or building safety according to hospital policies and procedures and/or regulatory requirements

  10. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

  11. Ability to be at work and be on time

  12. Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives

  13. Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner

  14. Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Speaks and understands the English Language
  • Able to complete and delegate work area assignments
  • 3 years housekeeping experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
