Lead Fire & Water Restoration Technician
Restoration Experts – Ronkonkoma, NY
Full-time | $25.00+/hour (Based on Experience)
About Us:
Restoration Experts is a family-owned fire and water damage restoration company based in Ronkonkoma, NY. We proudly serve clients across Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Westchester. We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Lead Technician to join our team and help us continue delivering top-quality service to our customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle fire, water, and mold restoration tasks from start to finish
- Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup
- Take moisture readings and document progress
- Use mobile apps to track jobs, take photos, and maintain accurate logs
- Follow IICRC standards and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in fire/water/mold restoration
- IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, ASD, etc.) strongly preferred
- Comfortable using restoration software like MICA, CompanyCam, or similar
- Tech-savvy and confident using mobile devices and apps
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight or challenging spaces
- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Willing to work occasional nights, weekends, or on-call shifts
- Must be able to travel to job sites throughout our full service area
