About the Opportunity
A growing fire protection company is seeking a Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician to join its Fire Sprinkler Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sprinkler professional who enjoys troubleshooting, service work, customer interaction, and taking a lead role in the field.
The successful candidate will service, test, and repair fire sprinkler systems for an established customer base while helping maintain the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform service calls, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire sprinkler systems
- Identify code deficiencies and non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Interpret and apply applicable fire protection codes and standards
- Prepare accurate service tickets and related documentation
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and repair needs directly with customers
- Perform fire pump flow tests (preferred but not required)
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience servicing and repairing fire sprinkler systems
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire sprinkler systems
- Ability to work from ladders (6–12 feet) and aerial lifts
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in overhead, confined, attic, and crawl space environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to complete service documentation accurately and on time
