Lead Filling Machine Operator Beverage Production (Bottling Line)
Location: Ogden, UT Job Type: Full-Time
Shifts: Day or Night (12 hour shifts)
Job Summary
This Lead role oversees daily operations on high-speed beverage production lines, ensuring smooth performance across filling, packaging, and end-of-line processes. Youll operate equipment such as BlowPack, Sleevers, and Traypack systems while also providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and coordination for the production team. This position is ideal for an experienced operator ready to take on leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Extensive experience operating high-speed production, bottling, or packaging machinery
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, or guide operators on a production line
- Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced troubleshooting skills
- Background in large-scale beverage, food, or automated manufacturing environments
- Experience with BlowPack, Sleevers, Traypack, or similar systems (preferred)
- Ability to interpret production data, identify issues, and drive improvements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and GMP standards
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods)
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations on beverage filling and packaging lines
- Operate, monitor, and adjust BlowPack, Sleevers, Traypack, and related equipment
- Provide direction, coaching, and support to machine operators
- Coordinate with maintenance to resolve equipment issues quickly
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
- Conduct routine quality checks and package integrity tests
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including CIP procedures
- Monitor material levels and ensure continuous production flow
- Complete and review production, downtime, and quality documentation
- Communicate performance updates and issues to supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Support training, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
