Lead Esthetician

Position Summary - Pay Range - $18.00 - 19.00/hr

The Esthetician is responsible for providing quality professional service in the administration of Esthetic and body treatments to guests of the Spa. This role supports service quality, training, onboarding, and protocol consistency, and assists spa leadership with daily operations, mentoring, and performance support. The Lead Esthetician models technical excellence, guest care, and professionalism aligned with Resort service standards.

Essential Functions

• Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life. 
• Must participate in all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.

• Must be able to perform various facial treatments as stated on the Spa Menu.
• Must be able to perform a variety of skin treatments based on the requirements of the Spa Menu.
• Must be proficient in all components of skin care; i.e. anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, etc.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order.
• Prepare treatment rooms, clean after each treatment, and maintain inventory levels of linens and supplies.
• Promote and sell Spa approved facial and body products.
• Check appointment schedule and print daily activities as required as well as complete daily reports.
• Ensure inventory control through proper usage of products.
• Maintain passing scores on treatment inspections.

• Abide by all hotel policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Current DCA license is required.
• 1-year spa experience preferred.

Working Conditions and Schedule

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work – Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for up to 7 hours per day.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Exposure to certain chemicals.
