Serves as a work leader for assigned Hospitality Associate, Transport Aide, Cleaning Aide I, and Cleaning Aides II employees in order to ensure that work assignments are carried out appropriately and in a timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:Serves as a work leader for assigned Hospitality Associate, Transport Aide, Cleaning Aide I, and Cleaning Aide II employees in order to ensure that work assignments are carried out. Distributes and balances the workload for assigned staff. Trains employees as directed and answers employee questions concerning departmental policies, procedures, and directives. Resolves simple informal complaints. Delegates, reviews, amends and checks work in progress to ensure methods and deadlines have been met. Reports problems to the supervisor.
Establishes and sustains sound relationships with assigned employees in order to foster an environment where innovative methods are used. Involves others in creative solutions to issues.
Cleans patient rooms/other areas, empties laundry, transports patients, and delivers specimens/items as requested.
Prioritizes, schedules and assigns work to others, ensuring work is completed according to policies and procedures. Uses proper judgment and knowledge of established practices and procedures when addressing problem or issues.
Prepares necessary reports and provides regular feedback to keep management fully informed on a daily basis.
Monitors and ensures adherence to infection control, waste management, and safety procedures.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:High School diploma/GED or equivalent and 3 years of related work experience are required. Strong leadership and written/verbal communication skills are required. Good interpersonal and team building skills are also required.
