Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded electrician with experience in both residential and commercial electrical work. While candidates may specialize in one area, they should have a working knowledge of the other and be comfortable troubleshooting, installing, and servicing a variety of electrical systems.
This role requires someone who can work independently, lead projects in the field, mentor apprentices or helpers, and provide high-quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial environments
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
Perform service calls and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
Install panels, breakers, lighting, switches, receptacles, and other electrical components
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and NEC codes
Lead projects and coordinate work with team members on-site
Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and management
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience preferred
Strong background in residential and/or commercial electrical work
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently
Experience leading jobs and managing projects preferred
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
