We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Lead Electrical Installation Supervisor & Commissioning Lead to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This pivotal role involves overseeing electrical installation projects, supervising a team of skilled professionals, and leading commissioning efforts to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will have a hands-on role in the development and implementation of motor control centers, switchgear commissioning, substations, and transformers.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead electrical installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

2. Manage and mentor a team of electricians and other skilled professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and safety.

3. Develop and implement motor control centers, overseeing all aspects from design to installation and maintenance.

4. Lead switchgear commissioning efforts, ensuring all equipment is installed and functioning correctly and safely.

5. Oversee the development and implementation of substations and transformers, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements and standards.

6. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure all electrical installations and equipment meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

7. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance on all electrical installation and commissioning matters.

8. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and implement these into your work where appropriate.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.

3. Proven experience with motor control centers, switchgear commissioning, substations, and transformers.

4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop others.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

7. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

8. In-depth knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.

9. Professional certification in Electrical Installation or a related field would be an advantage.
