The Lead Electrical Inspector oversees electrical inspections for large industrial construction projects, including CCS and energy facilities, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
They coordinate daily activities with construction and QA/QC teams, review inspection plans, and mentor junior inspectors.
Qualified candidates must be certified journeyman electricians, preferably with Master Electrician and ICC Electrical Inspector certifications, and have 10+ years of industrial electrical experience.
Expertise in NEC/NFPA 70, industrial power/control systems, and hazardous installations is required.
The role involves inspecting electrical systems, reviewing documentation, supporting commissioning, and enforcing safety standards.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, with a duration of approximately 8 months. Candidates need their own vehicle, and per diem and mileage are provided.
