Lead Electrical Engineer (PE)

Our client, an international electrical equipment manufacturer specializing in power distribution, is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer (PE) to join their team in Greenville, SC .Key ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze customer specifications, RFQs, and technical documents for compliance with high-voltage circuit breakersEnsure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, IEC) and identify deviations or exceptionsRecommend product configurations and technical solutions to meet customer requirementsReview and markup electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawingsSupport technical discussions during sales and bidding processesCollaborate with sales, engineering, and production to resolve technical issues and ensure project executionSupport product development, testing, and certification (incl. third-party labs such as CESI/KEMA)Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and documentationQualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (PE license)5+ years of experience in power systems or switchgear industryStrong knowledge of electrical transmission, distribution, and substation equipmentExperience reviewing technical specifications and identifying compliance issuesAbility to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawingsStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred: experience with vacuum circuit breakers (38kV-145kV), testing/validation, and AutoCAD ElectricalBenefitsOpportunity to work on high-voltage, mission-critical electrical infrastructure projectsCompetitive compensation and benefits packageCollaborative environment with cross-functional exposure (sales, engineering, production)Involvement in product development, testing, and industry certification processesStable manufacturing environment with growth potential in power systems industrySalary Type : Annual SalarySalary Min : $ 135000Salary Max : $ 150000Currency Type : USD#J-18808-Ljbffr
