    Description

    Lead the design, development, and execution of industrial electrical systems from concept through commissioning.Develop solutions that align with client budgets, schedules, design criteria, and operational requirements.Perform power, control, and electrical system calculations to support project design and implementation.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, manufacturing teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.Provide technical support during equipment installation, start-up, testing, and commissioning activities.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to evolving schedules, scopes, and design requirements.Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout all phases of the project.Travel to customer sites for meetings, installation support, and commissioning efforts as needed.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.5+ years of experience designing industrial electrical systems within a consulting engineering firm or design-build electrical contractor environment.Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA standards.Proficiency with Revit, SKM Power Tools, and lighting analysis software.Experience supporting equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning activities.Excellent technical writing, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.PreferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license.Experience in several of the following areas:AC drives and motor controlsLighting and lighting control systemsKnowledge of medium-voltage systems, power regeneration technologies, and energy reduction initiatives.Previous commissioning and field start-up experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
