Now Hiring: Lead General Dental Assistant

 

 

Locations: Henderson & Southern Las Vegas Area

**The role in Henderson requires regular travel between multiple office locations, so candidates must be comfortable commuting between sites as needed**

 

Absolute Dental is seeking an experienced Lead General Dental Assistant to join our growing team! If you’re a strong leader with a passion for patient care and team development, this is your opportunity to step into a leadership role and make a real impact.

Pay: Up to $28/hour (based on experience)

**Pay will be determined based on your experience and specialty assignment and will be discussed after the interview and full review process. Compensation may vary, as it is tailored to each candidate’s individual background, skills, specialty assignment, and overall experience.

Incentives: Monthly Bonus + $750 Sign-On Bonus

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in both patient care and team leadership:

Lead and support the dental assisting team

Assist the dentist during procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, etc.)

Ensure smooth daily back-office operations

Train and mentor new dental assistants

Maintain clinical efficiency and high standards of care

Oversee sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance

Take and process dental X-rays

Manage supplies and inventory

 

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of Dental Assistant experience (lead experience preferred)

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
