    Lead Dental Assistant (DAII) – Winston-Salem, NC


    Join our established private dental practice in the Winston-Salem area! We’re looking for an experienced Lead Dental Assistant (DAII)who is dependable, patient-focused, and ready to take on a leadership role within a supportive clinical team.

    This is a great opportunity for a motivated assistant who enjoys helping patients, supporting office operations, and contributing to an efficient, team-oriented environment.


    Responsibilities

    • Assisting chairside during dental procedures 
    • Lead and support clinical team workflow throughout the day 
    • Take and process digital x-rays 
    • Maintain accurate patient charting and clinical records 
    • Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring proper room turnover 
    • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards 
    • Monitor and help manage dental supplies and inventory 
    • Assist with training and supporting team members as needed 
    • Help ensure smooth daily office operations and patient flow
    • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
    • Assist in inventory management and ordering dental supplies
    • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant
    • Valid CPR/BLS Certification 
    • Qualified to expose x-rays in NC
    • Coronal Polishing certification preferred 
    • Strong communication and organizational skills 

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Pay: $23–$28 per hour, based on experience 
    • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 
    • 401(k) 
    • Paid Time Off (PTO) 

    Schedule

    •  Monday through Friday 
    •  Daytime hours 
    •  8-hour shifts

    Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
