Charlotte Behavioral Health Care (CBHC) is seeking a dependable and experienced Lead Cook to support daily dietary operations and meal service. This position serves as a working lead within the Dietary Department, assisting with food preparation, meal service, kitchen operations, and staff support while helping ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality food service. The Lead Cook works closely with the AVP of Community Services and dietary staff to maintain food quality, sanitation standards, and continuity of operations.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two (2) years of food preparation and cooking experience in a commercial, healthcare, institutional, or similar food service environment preferred.
Food Handler/Food Service Certification required within six (6) months of employment.
Valid Florida drivers license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide operational leadership during assigned shifts.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
