Lead Controls Specialist- Air Compressor DivisionLead Controls Specialist will be responsible for the integration of controls or control systems into existing or new compressed air system customers. The Lead Controls Specialist will be required to work with the ACF Sales and Service teams on control projects from design to implementation. The Lead Controls Specialist will be required to also work with the customer or end user on installation and implementation of quoted controls or control systems during the startup.Essential Job FunctionsPerform technical skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of compressed air system controls and control systemsProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of compressed air system controls and control systems both during normal working hours and after-hours, weekends, and holidays as directedPerform scheduled repairs of compressed air system controls and control systemsSystem control installation and commissioningVersed in controllers for both IR product line and competitive linesRead and interpret operational manuals, electrical schematics, general compressed air equipment literature, and work orders to perform required maintenance and/or repairs on controls and control systemsPerform basic mathematical calculations; including but not limited to totaling work orders and basic compressed air formulasPerform systems controls evaluations including in-field analysis and recommendationsApplication assistance to Sales team during sales processUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing dutiesDetect faulty operations, defective material and report them and any other unusual situations to the Sales Manager and or Service Manager in a timely mannerComply with safety regulations. Maintain clean and orderly job site work areasDrive to and from job sites throughout the day.
