As Lead Commercial Electrician, you'll oversee the electrical scope on active job sites, guiding teams and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and plans. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role where your expertise and problem-solving skills will directly shape project outcomes. The immediate opportunity is in Calabasas, with future projects throughout LA County.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and job specifications
Lead a crew on-site to ensure high-quality installations and safe practices
Install and troubleshoot commercial/industrial electrical systems
Ensure compliance with NEC and local building codes
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades
Maintain accurate timecards and job documentation
Operate power tools and aerial lifts safely and proficiently
Serve as the primary point of contact for field-related electrical issues
Qualifications
8 to 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
Certified Journeyman (required)
Must have own hand tools and wearable tool bags
Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Strong knowledge of NEC and California electrical codes
Able to work independently and lead others effectively
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces
Proficiency with conduit bending and standard power tools
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Schedule & Location
Full-time. Monday to Friday. 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Calabasas Start
Overtime and weekends as needed (paid accordingly)
Primary job site is Calabasas; other projects throughout Los Angeles County
Direct-to-jobsite reporting (no daily check-in at headquarters)

Competitive hourly pay at $40 to $50 per hour, depending on experience
